A cosmetic discovery with marine scents

Testimony from March 2017: A first recognition that marked the beginning of an adventure

More than 7 years ago, a simple but meaningful testimonial was shared by one of our first clients. An opinion that, at the time, played an important role in the construction of our brand and in the trust it inspires today. “A few weeks ago, I was invited to discover the brand-new organic cosmetics line, Guérande Cosmétiques. Guérande Cosmétiques was born in the heart of the famous salt marshes of Guérande. The brand draws on the richness of the fertile salt marsh ecosystem to create an innovative and unique skincare range. Entirely developed and manufactured in France, the products are certified organic. This line is designed for all skin types and is perfect for establishing effective beauty rituals.

Being very close to nature and mindful of responsible consumption, I was naturally curious to try natural skincare products, especially ones so innovative in terms of ingredients and active components: Mother-Waters rich in mineral salts and remineralizing trace elements, moisturizing plants, antioxidant and anti-aging algae, clays, and more, all developed within the Guérande salt marshes, a living ecosystem, a rich and fascinating natural environment!

I decided to indulge in one of their facial beauty rituals: the Face scrub, the Gel face mask, and the Anti-aging melting cream, in order to enjoy a complete, multi-step treatment. As a big fan of cocooning moments, skincare breaks, and relaxation, I gave myself a real beauty pause for my first encounter with Guérande’s organic cosmetics.

The Face scrub, a peel with Fleur de Sel, marine clay, and macroalgae, should be applied to dry skin (otherwise the salt melts upon contact with water!) with small, gentle circular massages, focusing mainly on the forehead-nose-chin area. After rinsing, unlike other scrubs, I didn’t feel that my skin had been stripped or irritated. Instead, I felt as though a veil of softness had settled over my face, probably thanks to the milky, melting texture of the product.

I continued my ritual with the Gel face mask, made with green salicornia and sea fennel, applied generously to clean, dry skin. Leave it on for about 15 minutes, then rinse off the excess. The sensation is very pleasant, like a true hydration bath, leaving my skin smooth and glowing.

I finished my beauty session with the Anti-aging melting cream, enriched with red salicornia and hyaluronic acid, which helps fight premature skin aging. I was pleasantly surprised by its light, non-greasy texture that evens out my complexion while leaving my skin soft and radiant.

I was won over by these three organic skincare products with their inspiring formulas, fresh scents, and marine and mineral notes. I truly felt like I had cared for myself and my skin in depth, respecting each stage of the ritual: cleansing, remineralizing, and hydrating. Next, I’ll complete my ritual with the Mother-waters neoserum and the Gentle micellar water, before treating myself to the body care range just in time for the sunny days ahead!“
